Stamp a Reverse Image

There are many images where I wish the image was reversed. How about you? These are the Adorable Owls from the 2023 Sale A Bration but of course you can use any stamp that you want to see the reverse image. The owls only face right, but the white owl here, is the reverse image.

Here's what you do.

Use a non-porous surface like the silicone craft sheet.

Ink your stamp.  I love to use the black Stampin' Write! Marker.

Stamp the image on the silicone craft sheet.

Immediately place a white piece of cardstock or your choice of color for your project.  Rub firmly over the area.

Lift the paper to reveal the reverse image.  Not dark enough?  Do it again and add more ink this time.  If you use your Stamparatus, you can reink and restamp without moving the paper.

Clean off your silicone mat and stamp.   Your image is now in the reverse.  View the post DSP as Card Base and see how to make three 4x12 cards out of one 12x12 as shown here.

Head over to my online shop to see more projects, the latest catalogs, and learn why I love Stampin' Up! so much.
