DSP is Card

Rain or Shine Designer papers, Mini Catalog Jan - Apr 2023. Adorable Owls stamps.

These cards all use 1/3 (4x12) of a 12x12 piece of Designer Series paper, double sided printed paper.

Do you have an abundance of scrapbook papers, or 12x12s you just want to use up? One piece gives you 3 cards. This pattern uses the Designer/printed paper as the card, and the only cardstock is 1/4 piece of cardstock used on the inside.

Choose 1, 12x12 that has 2 sides that are coordinated, because youll use them both. Cut the paper according to the direction of the pattern, portrait or landscape  3, 4x12 pieces.

Pick one. Which side will be outside? Score in half at 6". Score each end at 1/2". Fold and glue down the 1/2" edge back on itself that will be the front. This brings the inside print to the outside. Fold and glue down the other 1/2" strip inward, so it brings the outside pattern inside. Thats the card!

Now decide how to embellish it.
Add: die cuts  or punch art or a stamped image. Do you want ribbon at the fold? Bling?

I love the lightweight card design. I'm glad I keep a few pieces at 12x12.

Go ahead and cut your papers! Let a DSP card bring some joy to someone! Yes, you can do it. I bet you'll make all 3 pieces into cards!

Thanks for stopping by!  However you spend your day, be blessed!  sb
