A vase, or
A lady bug! Lady bugs don't have to be traditional colors all the time, do they? They can be whatever your creativity decides:
This card design is a Strip Card, made with pieces of remaining Designer Papers. The sentiment is from "
A Grand Kid" which is also on
SALE for -15%, was $21, on sale for $17.85. The Deer Builder punch. How about this prancing deer?! $19 now 17.10 on pg 154.
The Songbird Builder Punch, $19, now $17.10 is such an easy design to use. This card design has pop-up mechanism. You can cut FIVE of these, 2-inch wide cards out of one 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock. The mechanism is a cube of cardstock that's attached to the back of the bird and the bottom of the card, which enables the bird to stand up AND fold flat.
The Postage Stamp punch enables you to use the punched out pieces as a top layer design or punch out a piece of the top layer to reveal the sentiment inside. I've also used this for a sentiment tag. Also $19, now $17.10.
Punch out a piece of the front layer to reveal the inside sentiment.
Use the punched piece as a sentiment tag.
Punch 4 pieces as a front layer design. (Use this stamp set,
Inspired Thoughts, $19, now $16.15 with 15% off sale)
Use 4 punched pieces as a front layer design. The white layer is the Gingham Embossing Folder, also on sale NOV 15-18.

NOV 15-18TH SALE has 15% off Stamps
Blessings of Home Stamps (-15% also have Dies -20%) one of my favorites. The large flower bouquet can take center stage on your card and stand alone. And the similar small bouquet is perfect for a subtle greeting. Plus 5 inspiring sentiments. $25, now $21.25
Use tone on tone - same color ink as cardstock - Night of Navy. Use a chalk marker or white pigment craft ink with a Blending brush to color the flower white, a stunning look.
We used this stamp set to add color with water color markers or Stampin' Write water based markers.
Celebrate Sunflowers stamps $24, now $20.40 and Dies, 20% off.
This card design is using one 8 1/2" x 11" piece of white cardstock, then stamping through the middle and out to the edges, then random areas and colors to make four card fronts when cut into 4 x 5 1/4" pieces. Several sunflower stamps and leaves were used on this print.
Grassy Grove stamps & dies. The Dies were $39 and now $31 with the SALE. I did not get the stamps, so all my examples are with the dies. This is a favorite.
The project for NOV 2022 Card Connoisseurs card class will use this die set, so stay tuned for two 3D projects post coming soon. 3D projects are home decor or anything that's nse the die cuts piece as a stencil or mask.
Use this Grove Die cut with your own photos.
Use the die cut with a variety of background papers. It works well for your favorite hunter or use the Grove Dies for a Floating Card design so the deer appear to be in the forest.
In the Moment came out early in 2022 which I found perfect to remind my friend to relax after a heart attack. I designed these projects by using my idea of a "One Sheet Wonder for Cardstock". My class made a magnet bookmark, and Mini Slimline card. In the Moment, $24, now $20.40.
Here is my pattern for the One Sheet Wonder for Cardstock.
With this pattern, we made a Mini Slimline by folding the 6x6 in half, plus a magnetic bookmark, and a slightly smaller A2 card.
To add a printed paper design to your stamped image, which is called Masking, stamp it on Designer papers in black or same color as paper background. Then cut it out and glue it directly on top of the stamped image. See it below.
Harvest dies are another favorite of mine. $38, now $34.40. I don't always get the coordinating stamps because I like to use water color and other artsy techniques to create my own unique images. If you aren't feeling creative in that way, the stamp sets are perfect for you.
Here's a few prints I did with this set, including using these dies to cut and create a stencil.
I got the Layering Hollyhocks Dies to make cards to send my hollyhocks seeds. Every year people request the seeds so this set of dies is perfect for that. $37, now $29.60.
Here are the dies, and then I used it as a stencil/mask below.
I have found that I really love the texture of embossing folder on a front layer. Besides texture, it also adds a quilting look. I've been paper quilting with Julie Heitz over at Quilt Cards and More on Face Book. Three of my favorite Embossing Folders are now on sale. Here are some of my designs using the Gingham, Time Worn Type and 3D Fern, all on sale for 20% off. I've always been drawn to old world script or old typing like this, and I've been amazed at how our asparagus plant, gone to seed is so close to the texture of this 3D Fern, and how the Fern resembles pine branches. Try inking your folder and see how unique the embossed side vs the debossed side looks.
The Gingham Embossing Folder gives a quilted look to the white layer on this card.
This Time Worn Type Embossing Folder is shown as the background here. The flowers are from the Celebrating Sunflowers Dies which are on sale too.
Here are six samples of the 3D Fern, some are inked to show the debossing and embossing.
And Lastly on my samples of cards made with products from the Annual Catalog now on
SALE NOV 15-18TH is DESIGNER SERIES PAPER A.K.A DSP.
You can look on page 131 of your catalog to see the DSP. Not all are included in this SALE but most.
Look for the Abigail Rose, Awash in Beauty, Butterfly Kisses, Happy Forest Friends,
Hues of Happiness
Lovely in Linen, Perfectly Penciled, Pretty Prints, Sun Prints, and Tea Boutique - all of these are 20% off of the $12.00 pkg.
Of the Designer papers there are four packages that are NOT on sale. That must mean that they are continuing in the new 2023 catalog.
You can go to my website here
www.susanboback.stampinup.net to see sales or look up each category of products in the search bar: punches, stamps, dies, embossing folders, Designer Series Papers.
HERE'S the cards with DSP
This floating tea cup designed card, shows the
Cup of Tea Dies along with the
Tea Boutique DSP which are both on SALE. The stamp set is also onsale.
The card below is from my Stamping 101 Class and shows how simple it is to put together a card with a 4x 5 1/4 layer. One piece of DSP cut in half, and using both sides of the print. This is Lovely in Linen which is ON SALE.
This is a Double Z design - made with the Abigail Rose DSP. Like many of the Designer papers, there are large flowers to fussy cut (cut by hand) or cut with matching dies, to use as accent pieces. This paper does remind me of days gone by when life was much simpler. I am attracted to this as well.
Here are some sympathy cards with the Sun Prints papers. I'd always wanted to have the sun make prints on dark fabric or paper, and here it is, already done for me.
There are many other stamps, dies, punches, embossing folders on this 3-DAY sale that are not shown in my samples.
Remember that the SALE is while supplies last, and experience has shown me that products go fast. So don't wait. Get your favorite now. You can order through my website listed above or contact me by Messenger to place your order with me directly.
Thank you for reading this long post of exciting sales examples.
As always, thanks for stopping by, and be blessed! sb
